Films That Might Actually Be Worth Seeing

If the 2011 Oscar noms are any indication, we were served up a lot of average entertainment last year.

"The Descendants" is the best picture of the year?

Watching this movie was a decent way to spend 2 hours. But so is watching Lifetime.

Or wait, "The Artist"? The silent film I cannot drag myself to see? The one that everyone is telling me I have to LOVE, in the same way I'm supposed to LOVE quinoa and cleanses.

I will rent you so that I can multi-task while you're on in the background.

Much like my search for interesting clothes and music, I decided to take my search abroad to see what the Best Foreign Films are all about. These 2 look promising. As soon as they open IN MY MAJOR METROPOLIS, I will provide a review.

Don't get me wrong, I cannot wait for The Oscars. I expect it to underwhelm just like every award show has so far this season. Here's hoping Billy says something stupid and/or someone shows up dress like a swan.
